This unit will fire out 1700 ANSI lumens and we would say that this is suitable, depending upon light conditions, for meetings of up to about 30 people. This is an ultra compact and very bright projector for its ANSI lumen rating which we have found to be extremely reliable. These projector have various different inputs including standard RGB data cables as would be attached to a monitor, DVI (Digital Video Interface) which is the new standard for monitors. The projector can also be connected to a computer using a USB cable in addition to the data cable toallow control from the application. Driver disks can be supplied or downloaded form the manufacturer site. Additionally, there are S-Video inputs & composite video inputs. These projectors are SVGA resolution which means that they project an image which is 800 pixels by 600 pixels (a standard smaller screen size). They will happily re-interpret a wide range of input resolutions as follows: VGA, SVGA, XGA & SXGA. They will also operate with both PAL (European standard) & NTSC (USA standard) input signals. These projectors come with a basic remote control.

Our next range of models up are XGA install grade projectors which are still very portable but offer a very bright 2500 / 2600 ANSI lumen output. They feature the same range of inputs and have basic remote controls provided. Computer based remote control is also possible using USB & appropriate driver software which can be provided or downloaded from the manufacturers websites as appropriate. These XGA projectors will also autodetect the input source which is in use and can re-interpret and the same range of input resolutions with only a slight loss of quality, although for certain applications with a great deal of fine detail we recommend matching your computer desktop and/or Powerpoint presentation resolution to that of the projector. XGA is 1024 x 768 pixels
